Ayda Roozbayani

Ayda Roozbayani (b. 1995, Iran) is a figurative painter based in Iran. She holds a BA in Painting from Alzahra University. She has presented her work in numerous solo and group exhibitions, receiving several awards throughout her professional career. In 2019, she held her first solo exhibition, and in 2021 began her first international collaboration with Moi Aussi Art Gallery in Italy, a partnership which continues to this day and has resulted in her participation in several international exhibitions. In 2024, she took part in Untitled Art Miami, USA, an appearance that marked a significant turning point in her artistic career. Roozbayani's practice employs a range of media and techniques, including oil, acrylic, watercolor, pencil, and collage, through which she creates a dialogue between classical and contemporary approaches. Her work often explores the relationship between humans and nature, as well as the emotional and psychological effects of industrialization on human experience in contemporary life. Through her imagery, she conveys a collective sense of confusion, solitude, and a quiet state of anticipation that characterizes the contemporary human condition.
